Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented professional to lead our Business Development initiatives within the government sector. This role demands a deep understanding of government processes, strong networking abilities, and an acute sense of identifying and converting business opportunities.  

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting government bodies, ministries, PSUs, and other public sector organizations.  
  • Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities in the government advertising domain. 
  • Identify and establish connections with key stakeholders in government departments and agencies.  
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring trust and satisfaction.  
  • Ensure compliance with government tendering processes and protocols.
  • Achieve business targets through the acquisition of government advertising projects.  
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and presentations tailored to government requirements.
  • Monitor government tenders, expressions of interest (EOIs), and requests for proposals (RFPs).  
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring adherence to guidelines.  
  • Coordinate with creative, media, and strategy teams to develop compelling campaign ideas that resonate with government objectives. 
  • Ensure smooth execution of projects by liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Stay updated on policies, regulations, and opportunities related to government advertising.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for Infinity Advertising Services.  
  • Maintain detailed business development activities, proposals, and project pipeline records.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on progress and achievements.  

 Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.  
  • Experience: Proven experience in handling government clients, tenders, and public sector advertising campaigns.  
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of advertising and media planning, with prior experience in an advertising agency being a significant advantage.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  
  • Familiarity with e-procurement portals and tender submission processes.  
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.  
  • Strong networking capabilities and ability to manage high-level stakeholders.  
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.  
  • High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
