Role Overview

The Business Development – Films position is a strategic role responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities in the film and advertising domain. The candidate will focus on building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and aligning our film production and advertising services to deliver creative and commercially viable solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and target potential clients, including corporate brands, agencies, and production houses.  
• Develop and implement strategies to secure film projects, brand collaborations, and promotional campaigns.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closure, ensuring revenue growth targets are met or exceeded.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring trust and satisfaction.  
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Provide regular updates, presentations, and proposals tailored to client requirements.  
• Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities in the film advertising industry.
• Collaborate with the creative and production teams to align services with market demand and client expectations.
• Propose innovative ideas for brand integration, storytelling, and content strategies that leverage film as a medium.
• Work closely with the creative, production, and account management teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute business insights to creative concepts.
• Coordinate with finance and legal teams for contract negotiations and payment follow-ups.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for Infinity Advertising Services.  
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress using CRM tools.
• Prepare periodic business performance reports, including revenue forecasts and market analysis.

 Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in business development, ideally within an advertising agency or film production company.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software.
• Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify opportunities, pitch services, and close deals.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the film production and advertising industries, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Client-focused: Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
• Creativity: A flair for creative thinking and the ability to understand and contribute to storytelling and brand narratives.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong research and analytical skills to identify market trends and craft strategic pitches.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
