Role Overview

The Business Development Executive – Outdoor Advertising will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing outdoor advertising clients. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to developing relationships with clients and delivering customized outdoor advertising solutions. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of outdoor media and a proven ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive market.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the outdoor advertising segment.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through market research, networking, and industry events.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to client needs.
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and escalations, ensuring swift resolution.
• Regularly engage with clients to understand their marketing objectives and propose relevant outdoor advertising solutions.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop customized outdoor media plans and proposals.
• Analyse market trends and competitors to stay ahead in the outdoor advertising.
• Contribute to pricing strategies and budget optimization to ensure competitive yet profitable offerings.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management on performance metrics., 
• Work closely with the media buying team to secure optimal outdoor advertising placements.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
• Liaise with finance to ensure timely invoicing and collections.

 Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within an advertising agency or outdoor media organization.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• In-depth knowledge of outdoor advertising formats, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Results-driven, with a strong sense of initiative and a go-getter attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Resilience and adaptability to handle challenges and pressure.
